Je dois faire une courte description en anglais sur un thème choisie et j'ai choisie Abraham lincoln, sachant que j dois passer a l'oral. Merci

Abraham Lincoln: He was born in February 12 1809  in Hardin County in Kentucky and died on the 15 qpril 1865. His parents were Thomas and Nancy Hanks Lincoln. His dad, Thomas Lincoln was a religious man, he opposed slavery for religious and economic reasons. Lincoln loved learning but he did not have a lot of time to go to school. He was a voracious reader and a self-taught. Lincoln often says "Everything i want to know is books". Then, His mother died when he was 9 years old and so he's father remarried to Sarah Bush. In 1832, Lincoln was a ranger and a soldier during the Black Hawk War. Then later on. Lincoln was the manager of a store in New Salem, Illinois. People there respected him. Then He became interested  in government and thought about becoming a state politician. Lincoln tried to win the election for a state government position in 1832 at the age of 23 but sadly he lost. But in 1834, he won his first election. He then became a lawyer in 1837. In 1846, Lincoln became a national politician, he won  election as representative to Congress, he worked for the state of Illinois in the Capital Building and he lived in Washinton for 2 years Then he was assassinated while watching a theatre someone shot his head behind he's back.
